Accommodation
Our stylish and chic studio sleeps up to 2 people, great for a magical romantic getaway in the country. This tranquil retreat is beautifully furnished and comes with an array of superb facilities.Inside this charming studio is a fabulous open plan kitchen with a vaulted sitting room with a grand piano, a comfortable sofa and chairs with a small TV and DVD player. On the mezzanine floor is a sumptuous king-size bed with 400-thread count cotton linen, great for a peaceful night’s slight after a day exploring.
Cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen which includes a dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, cafetière, kettle and toaster, plus an ice bucket and champagne flutes for a special occasion. A small laundry room comes with a washing machine.
We offer wonderful food to tantalise your taste buds from our fantastic chef for an additional cost. Flowers, champagne, wine, chocolates, breakfast baskets, afternoon teas and picnics can also be provided too.
Visiting Downhead & Exploring Somerset
We are in a great position for discovering all that the area has to offer. The Mendip area boasts an abundance of fabulous restaurants, including the Talbot inn in Mells, The Chapel and Osip in Bruton and Bannatyne’s in Shepton Mallet. Visit the small market town of Frome, home to specialist shops and galleries, plus delightful artisan, food and flea markets on the first Sunday of each month. Brilliant attractions to visit include:Hauser and Wirth contemporary art gallery in Bruton.
