About Sandpiper Cottage

A spacious stone-built cottage, just a stone’s throw from the beach at Amble. It has been tastefully decorated and furnished throughout, ensuring it includes everything you need for an enjoyable break away. Where possible, we have kept the original charming features, such as fireplaces and brass door handles, which are combined against a moor modern décor, providing a place for you to stay that is calm and relaxing. The accommodation comprises of:

Comfortable living room with flat screen Freeview TV.
BT Fibre broadband.
Fireplace with glass coal effect fire.
Second living room with original Victorian fireplace and LCD Freeview TV.
Well-equipped kitchen with cream shaker style units.
Extending dining table with four chairs.
Plenty of crockery, cutlery and tableware.

Both bedrooms in the house are comfortable, cosy and have a homely fee. The main rear bedroom has a 5ft frame bed with an original fireplace and TV whilst the front bedroom has a twin-beds, again with an original fireplace. There is a third single bedroom, suitable for a child or family member, as the bathroom is accessed through this room.

For those who are looking to enjoy the best of a county and coastal break away, Amble-by-the-Sea is the perfect place to stay. The area has something for everyone no matter your age or interest. This small working fishing port has an award-winning marina, good shops, pubs, seabird centre, watersports and a town trail that will lead you to the many places of interest hidden in quiet and secluded areas.

Northumberland is England’s most northern county and is filled with some unforgettable days out. It is home ancient castles, golden sandy beaches, rolling hills and rugged moorland, perfect for those who are looking to spend as their break away in the great outdoors.

We are in an ideal situation to take advantage of all Northumberland has to offer, with Alnwick 7 miles away, Newcastle 40 minutes drive, the beautiful village of Warkworth a mile away with its coffee shops and arts and crafts shops, all those beautiful beaches and links golf courses.
