Carraigbeg provides fantastic self catering accommodation in Blackwaterfoot. We are nestled in a peaceful location yet only 3 miles from the beach. Further afield you can visit a variety of attractions on the Isle of Arran.

Accommodation

Our newly built, large modern villa has been finished to a high standard and sleeps up to 7 people. There is underfloor heating downstairs.

We have a spacious lounge with a gas-fired stove, smart TV with Freeview, a DVD player and free Wi-Fi. Double doors open to a patio with a table and chairs for al fresco dining.

The large kitchen/dining area is well-equipped and includes a double fan oven and grill, electric ceramic hob and extractor unit, microwave, large American fridge freezer, wine cooler, warming drawer and espresso machine. An oak table has seating for 8 people. A utility room houses a washing machine, tumble dryer and sink.

Upstairs there are 2 spacious bedrooms, including 1 king-size sleigh bed with an en suite shower and 1 room with 3 single beds and an en suite with a shower over the bath. A spacious upstairs sitting area enjoys stunning views up the valley to the hills and Goatfell. Downstairs there is a bathroom with a shower and a bedroom with a king bed.

Visiting Blackwaterfoot & Exploring the Isle of Arran

We are close to the Shiskine (12-hole) golf course and lots of amenities, including a licensed grocer, butcher, newsagent, bakery, garage and Kinloch Hotel with indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and squash court. Locally you can enjoy pony trekking and lots of walking routes. Attractions to visit include:

Brodick Castle.
Distillery at Lochranza.
The Heritage Museum.
Cairnhouse Riding Centre.
Dougarie Estate.
