Accommodation
Our charming 2 bedroom cottage is situated in a quiet location, allowing you to relax and unwind with friends and family while staying in comfy accommodation. The cosy lounge has 2 comfortable 2 seater sofas, 1 of which is a double bed sofa. A 40’’ flat screen digital TV with Freeview and DVD player is available. You can wine and dine in our dining area, which has a dining table, 4 chairs and a highchair. There’s also a radio/CD/Cassette player. Double doors lead onto a decked garden breakfast area, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Our newly refurbished kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances expected of high-quality accommodation: fitted units, electric hob, fan assisted oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and toaster. Thermostatically controlled shower cubicle and WC on the ground floor.There are 2 bedrooms, one is a double bed with memory foam mattress, duvet, bedside tables with lamps, radio alarm, dressing table, fully fitted wardrobes, fitted carpet and there is also a Greco travel cot available as required. The other bedroom overlooks the back garden, is comfortably sized and has two single beds with duvets, bedside lamp and table, 4 drawer unit and single wardrobe. There is also a bathroom/shower room – bath (incorporating a thermostatically controlled shower) and washbasin. A separate WC upstairs. Downstairs there is shower room and loo.
Our quiet and delightful garden has a lovely decking area and table and chairs. The garden is ideal for children to play in as it is safe and secure.
All bed linen and tea towels are included and the property is cleaned at each turn around (which is usually weekly). Electricity usage together with gas central heating and hot water is included in the rental price.
Visiting Broadstairs & Exploring Kent
Our superb holiday home is ideal for visiting local attractions. A bus service, the Loop, links Broadstairs with Margate and Ramsgate (buses every 10 minutes). Broadstairs is a wonderful place to visit and Quex Park in Birchington is a fabulous place for children to visit, catering for a wide range of ages. For the little ones, you have Jungle Jims, and a huge playpen is the best way to describe where the kids can immerse themselves in unbridled fun. From Jungle Jims you can move straight on to the Cotton and Powell museum, which is an educational experience unrivalled in the near vicinity. Take the Viking Trail via bicycle and experience the beauty of this stretch of coastline. Ramsgate has the only Royal Harbour in the whole of the UK, decreed Royal by George IV after receiving hospitality before embarking to Hanover. This borders a yacht-packed marina, awash with history and overflowing with continental charm, it’s a must-see historic port. In Ramsgate, the water is irresistible – hop on a boat trip to spot seals on the Goodwin Sands, discover gorgeous beaches and bays, or view the Thanet Offshore Windfarm’s 100 turbines.For more information please visit our website.
