Nightingale Cottage is located in the historic Castle Acre, Norfolk. It is a very comfortable and welcoming holiday home sleeping up to 4 people in 3 separate bedrooms. We provide a home-from-home for those wish to enjoy either a short stay or longer holiday for you to explore all that this unique village and local area has to offer. We are also pet friendly!

About Nightingale Cottage

We have one double bedroom and two single bedrooms; with all pillows, quilts, bedlinen and towels provided. All bedrooms have ceiling fans for summertime comfort. Bathroom includes a bath and an electric shower.

The living/dining room includes an open fire and electric heat to keep you warm and cosy in the winter; logs, coal and electricity are provided free of charge. 43” flatscreen QLED HD TV with Freeview Play & BBC I-Player and separate Blu-Ray DVD player. A welcome tray awaits your arrival. Tourist information and maps are provided. Wi-Fi Internet.

Our well-equipped modern kitchen includes an electric cooker, a microwave, fridge and washer/dryer.

We have an enclosed private courtyard garden with garden furniture for eating al-fresco. We also offer a garage for car or bicycles and there is also parking available in front of the cottage.

Visiting Castle Acre & Exploring Norfolk

Our Norfolk holiday cottage is a great place to stay for those who would like to explore Castle Acre. We are a short walk from several village pubs, shops, tea rooms, the castle ruins, children’s playground, Priory ruins, Nar River and Peddars Way. Perfect for relaxing or walking and cycling in beautiful countryside; also in easy reach of the coast and lots of other tourist attractions for all of the family.
