Accommodation

Our charming cottage is great for a romantic getaway in a scenic countryside setting. The cottage is spacious, tastefully furnished and comes with everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

The cottage is brimming with history and includes an exposed brick walk and vaulted ceiling, whilst still offering quality accommodation. A cosy living room comes with a comfy seating, a wall-mounted TV with Freesat and a DVD player. A well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances for home-cooking, plus utensils, crockery, cutlery and other kitchenware. Enjoy breakfast at the breakfast bar to set you up for the day ahead.

A lovely double bed sits in the corner, offering lots of space, perfect for a peaceful night’s sleep. The en suite shower room has a WC, wash basin and shave socket.

You are welcome to wander around and relax in the gardens of Hellbarn estate, including the small River Winniford on the edge of the estate. A recreation and information room is provided with family table games, DVDs or books.

Visiting North Chideock & Exploring Dorset

While staying with us you can make the most of the glorious countryside. Only 2 miles away is the nearest beach, part of the iconic Jurassic coast. A gorgeous walk across the fields takes you to Seatown, via Chideock, whilst many more country walks can also be enjoyed in the area. You can also wander along lots of stunning coastal routes.

Dorchester, Weymouth and Portland Bill are all within easy reach. You can visit Bovington with its famous Tank Museum, the Swannery and gardens at Abbotsbury, children's entertainment at Crealy and Monkey World, plus elegant houses and scenic gardens. Superb attractions to visit include:

National Trust - Kingston Lacy.
Brownsea Island.
Durdle Door.
Corfe Castle.
Old Harry Rocks.
