About Chantry Cottage
Our holiday cottage will accommodate up to four people in three bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is upstairs with king sized brass bed, bed side tables, dressing table and built-in wardrobes with delightful views over Blythburgh Church and the cottage garden. Bedroom 2 is upstairs with double sized brass bed, bedside tables and wardrobe with views over the south facing garden. Bedroom 3 can be found downstairs and has a single sized brass bed, bedside table and en suite shower room with power shower, WC and hand basin. Warmed by a heated towel rail.The kitchen is well equipped with an eye-level oven, ceramic hotplate, microwave, dishwasher and fridge with a separate freezer. The kitchen door leads into the garden. Should you need any clothes washing facilities during our stay, there is a washing machine and drying rack in the utility room. There is also plenty of space in the utility for storage space for bicycles, walking boots and coats. Another door from here leads to the dining room.
Our holiday home has two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs and is an ideal retreat for couples, families, walkers, music lovers and bird watchers. Well behaved dogs and children are welcome.
To the front of the cottage there is a gravel driveway which provides off road parking for two cars and a good sized South facing garden with a terrace and seating area.
Visiting Blythburgh & Exploring Suffolk
The village of Bluthburgh is just a short drive from the coastal town of Southwold and is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is close to the RSPB’s Minsmere Nature Reserve and is the starting point for numerous walks along the coast or inland along the River Blyth to Wenhaston and Halesworth and is convenient for music lovers attending the Latitude Festival at Henham Hall and the Aldeburgh Festival.For more information please visit our website.
