Ladyhill Coach House in Birnam offers superb self catering accommodation in a central base from which to explore the glorious countryside and attractions of Perthshire. Located in the charming village of Birnam on the banks of the River Tay the cottage is a sympathetic conversion of a Victorian coach house providing high quality self catering accommodation for up to four people.

Accommodation

The holiday cottage is double-glazed with full gas central heating. There are two bedrooms, a double and a twin, with a bathroom on the upper floor.

The cosy lounge has comfortable seating, a satellite TV, DVD player and radio/tape/CD player. The small leaded light windows lend character to the room and hint at the buildings former use. A large picture window leads to the patio area.

A fully equipped Kitchen/diner with a gas hob, electric oven, fridge, small freezer, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. The dining table seats four comfortably and there is plenty of china, glass and cutlery.

Both the double and twin bedrooms are bright with wardrobe and drawer space, hair dryer and shaver points. Duvets are provided together with all linen and towels.


The garden is sheltered and secluded with a screened lawn. The patio area outside the lounge is equipped with garden furniture and the private drive has parking space for two or more cars.

Visiting Brinam & Exploring Perthshire

Birnam is a Victorian village set on the banks of the River Tay opposite the small town of Dunkeld. The surrounding wooded hills offer superb walking with an integrated network of way-marked river and forest walks. Local amenities include a grocery shop, post office, restaurants and bus stop within 5 minutes' walking distance, with the train station half a mile away. Nearby Dunkeld has a Tourist Information Centre and a wider range of shops and restaurants. Superb attractions to visit include:

The Black Watch Castle & Museum.
Queen's View Visitor Centre.
Blair Athol Distillery.
The Hermitage.
