Unique-Retreats offers outstanding self catering accommodation near Whitby, surrounded by glorious countryside. We are nestled in a scenic area of North Yorkshire and have 5 properties to choose from.

Accommodation

Our stunning properties offer pure luxury and are ideal for the ultimate country escape. They offer stylish furnishings to the highest standards and boast amazing countryside views.

All the properties come with an array of superb facilities to make your stay as relaxing as possible, including a fully-equipped kitchen with Wedgwood crockery and Royal Doulton crystal glassware, Dualit toaster and kettle, Panasonic breadmaker, Neff appliances, microwave, dishwasher and a fridge freezer. Great entertainment facilities also include a smart TV with Netflix and an Apple iPad.

Ewelands House – Sleeps 6:

This wonderful cottage is perfect for a magical country retreat. Unwind in the open plan living area in front of the magnificent wood burner. Fabulous interiors include Farrow and Ball shades of grey mixed with warming whites, wood and natural stone. In total there are 3 bedrooms, with a master king room on the top floor perfect for a restful night’s sleep.

Cowslip Retreat – Sleeps 2:

Our gorgeous cottage is great for a couple looking for somewhere special to stay. A lovely king room comes with lavish bed linen and throughout the cottage there is designer fabrics, Farrow & Ball paints and sumptuous furnishings.

Ewelands Retreat – Sleeps 2:

This delightful ground-level cottage is great for an unforgettable holiday. The house offers luxurious furnishings and lavish Farrow & Ball paints to create a lavish feel. The kitchen is perfect for rustling up some delicious dishes and you can unwind in the cosy living area.

The Piggery – Sleeps 6:

Our fantastic property is great for special family getaway. The cottage is over 200 years old and retains many original features. Inside there are 3 attractive bedrooms with king beds and wall mounted TVs, plus en suites. Outside there is private gardens and a large balcony, great for a coffee in the morning sun.

Cowslip Cottage – Sleeps 6:

This outstanding cottage is a haven for country lovers looking for somewhere special to stay. The stylish cottage offers sumptuous furnishings and features 3 lovely bedrooms, including 2 twin rooms and 2 king rooms. All the bedrooms include a flat screen TV and luxurious furnishings for a peaceful night's sleep.

The cottages are in a great location for discovering all that the local area has to offer. The area has lots of stunning countryside walks, perfect for admiring the amazing natural landscape. You can visit the superb boutiques or browse the art galleries. Brilliant attractions to visit include:
