Sir Johns Hill Farm is the ideal destination for a relaxing, fun-filled holiday with your dogs. Situated in one of the most beautiful locations in West Wales, the farm boasts breathtaking views. Spread across 10 acres and surrounded by fields and woodland that gently slope towards the sea, it offers a serene and private retreat. The peaceful setting, far from busy roads, ensures tranquility, while being just half a mile from the charming township of Laugharne provides convenient access to local amenities.

Accommodation

The Old Stables Cottage has been thoughtfully designed with both dogs and their owners in mind. With tiled floors and rugs throughout, it’s easy to keep clean and comfortable. The cottage features two bedrooms (one double and one twin), a bathroom with a spacious double shower, a large lounge, a well-equipped kitchen, and a dining conservatory. There’s plenty of room throughout the cottage for dog beds, ensuring a relaxing stay for everyone.

The Old Stables is an excellent year-round destination. In the summer, you can enjoy the garden and patios, while in colder or less pleasant weather, you can relax in the conservatory and enjoy stunning views across the sea to Worm’s Head on the Gower.

With LPG central heating and excellent insulation, the cottage remains warm and cozy throughout your stay.

The Farm is a great place for people who like to get away from it all and stay in a comfortable cottage with fantastic views. There are lovely walks direct from the Farm, beautiful dog friendly beaches nearby, and a number of dog friendly places where you can eat and drink locally. Many people who come and stay at the Farm tend to spend a lot of time just relaxing around the Farm, but there are lots of interesting local attractions for all the family to enjoy and many great places to go out for a drink, snack or meal.

Visiting Laugharne & Exploring Carmarthenshire

We are only a short walk from Laughharne. In the town you will find a number of places to eat, drink and shop. The scenery in Laugharne is glorious and you can enjoy a walk to Dylan Thomas’ boathouse or explore the grounds of Laugharne Castle. There is lots to see and do in the local area, whether your interest is in historical attractions, gardens, or theme parks. The most popular attractions with children are Folly Farm, Oakwood Leisure Park, which has over 40 rides and the recently opened Bluestone’s Blue Lagoon Water Park.

Rates: From £650 to £875 per week depending on season.
Short breaks available out of peak season only.
Maximum of 4 people.
£15 per dog, very dog friendly, exempt dogs very welcome and no restrictions on breeds or size of dogs.
