Nevis Lodge
This stunning eco-lodge, situated in natural woodland, offers spectacular views of Ben Nevis through its floor-to-ceiling windows. Featuring underfloor heating powered by ground source energy and a central wood-burning stove, it combines sustainability with comfort. The spacious living area is bathed in natural light, with oak flooring throughout and includes a cosy seating area around the log fire, fast broadband and a large flat-screen TV. A spiral staircase leads to a loft sleeping area, while additional stairs access a spacious bedroom and balcony overlooking the living room. The modern, well-equipped kitchen includes a breakfast bar and dishwasher, perfect for family meals. Accommodating up to 8 guests, the lodge features 4 bedrooms (3 doubles, 1 twin) and a sleeping loft, along with 2 bathrooms, one en-suite with showers over baths and an extra toilet with a hand wash basin. This American log house offers uninterrupted views of Scotland’s Ben Nevis from its elevated and private location. With a cathedral ceiling and open-plan living space, the house features a balcony overlooking trout lochans, rolling hills and the majestic Nevis Range. Surrounded by the peace and tranquility of the Great Glen, it provides 360˚ panoramic views and access to roam the private estate and beyond. Accommodating 6–7 guests, the lodge has three spacious double bedrooms, two bathrooms and a light-filled mezzanine studio with a sofa bed for extra sleeping space. The open-plan living area includes a wood-burning stove, large French windows opening onto a raised decking with a barbecue area and tasteful furnishings, including original artwork by local artists. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, gas hob, electric oven, large fridge/freezer, dining table and breakfast bar. Central heating ensures a cosy atmosphere throughout, with WiFi and 4G mobile reception available for your convenience.The farm offers picturesque walks to the River Lochy and along its scenic banks, where you might spot native wildlife such as roe deer, red deer, buzzards, pine martens, red squirrels, woodcock, oystercatchers and Canada geese. The diverse landscape of natural woodland, open moorland and riverbanks provides a rich habitat for a variety of deciduous and coniferous trees, wildflowers, butterflies and an array of wild mushrooms and fungi.
Visiting the Area
Nevis Lodges are situated just 3 miles from Fort William, known as the Outdoor Capital of the UK. With convenient access to Ben Nevis and the Nevis Range, the area is ideal for skiing, mountain biking and exploring the breathtaking trails of Glen Nevis and Glencoe. The River Lochy offers opportunities for serene river walks and kayaking. Essential amenities, including food shops, are only 2 miles away and Fort William’s swimming pool and gym are conveniently located en route to town.
