Acton Castle offers self catering accommodation near Penzance. Our Garden Apartment is based in a majestic Grade II Listed 18th Century castle in Cornwall, ideal for an idyllic getaway.

Accommodation

Our 2 bedroom apartment is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with the castle perched on the cliffs over mount’s Bay. From the gardens, you can savour breathtaking sea views across Penzance to St Michael’s Mount.

Stone steps from the front of the castle lead to the Garden Apartment. You can unwind in the spacious and elegant open plan living room which enjoys glorious sea views. Facilities include comfy sofas, a TV, DVD player, iPod dock and CD player. A well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances, including a dishwasher, washing machine microwave, fridge freezer and cooker.

2 beautiful bedrooms are available: a double en suite and a twin room. The double enjoys garden and sea views. Both rooms share a family bathroom.

Outside there are formal sunken gardens and lovely lawns to enjoy, including sub-tropical planting and an ornamental fishpond. The main garden is shared with 4 other apartments, but there is an area allocated exclusively for the apartment.

Visiting Penzance & Exploring Cornwall

On our doorstep is the South West Coast Path, ideal for walkers looking to admire stunning natural scenery by foot. A twenty-minute stroll will take you to Prussia Cove, while in the other direction you’ll find the beach and village of Perranuthanoe. A short drive will take you to Praa Sands and further afield you can visit Porthleven, Marazion, Newlyn Harbour, Mousehole, or even the Lizard Peninsula. Further attractions to visit include:
