Summary

Little Valley Wales offers charming self-catering accommodations near New Quay and Llangrannog. Our 2 rental properties are on our smallholding in a very quiet, rural location. Perfect for a memorable get away in West Wales.

Bwythy Bach

Our stone barn dates back to 1700’s but has been recently renovated to provide fabulous accommodation using a blend of antique and modern pieces.

Inside there is an open plan lounge and kitchen-diner. Facilities include a log burner, smart TV and French doors that open to the private garden with hot tub, BBQ, and hammock. The dining area has seating for 2 people and the well-equipped kitchen has an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and a toaster. Off the kitchen is the wet room, shower and toilet.

Upstairs, there is a large loft room which has space to relax as well as a comfy king-sized bed and wardrobe area.

Caban Bach

The Cabin is set into the slopes of our private woodland and sleeps 2 people, perfect for a romantic break. The grass roofed, timber cabin offers lots of character for a relaxing stay.

There is a king-sized bed, lounge area with a log burner and projector pre-loaded with movies. The well-equipped kitchen has a full-sized fridge and kettle. Outside, there is a pizza oven, gas hob and BBQ. The private outdoor space contains the hot tub and decking area as well as the hot rainfall shower which offers breathtaking views over the valley. The decking leads round to the compost loo and private steps to the woodland.

Visiting Ffostrasol & Exploring Ceredigion

We are perfectly placed for enjoying lots of walks in the area, including bridle ways, footpaths and peaceful lanes. Only a 15 minute drive away is the Ceredigion coastal path with its many beaches. 10 minutes from us is the market town of Newcastle Emlyn and a little further for Cardigan, the county town of Ceredigion.

Other attractions to visit include:

Ffostrasol Arms – great for a Sunday lunch.
Llangrannog – a seaside village with pubs and eateries.
New Quay – a small seaside town where dolphin spotting trips run from the harbour.
Welsh Wildlife Centre – a pleasant bird spotting walk, just outside Cardigan.
Cilgerran Castle – an explorable National Trust ruin.
