Ardlui Retreat & Lodges consists of eight brand new luxury lodges, each featuring a private hot tub and terrace, these perfectly complement the main house which sleeps 10. Ardlui House itself has been completely refurbished and upgraded to an exceptional standard. Together, the lodges and house create a truly outstanding holiday experience.

The lodges are ideal for families and smaller groups seeking privacy while still enjoying the loch and its stunning surroundings. Each lodge has been thoughtfully designed to combine comfort, style and functionality, creating a welcoming retreat after a day of exploring or activity.

Each of the eight lodges features three generously sized double bedrooms with wet rooms, underfloor heating, a private hot tub and a dedicated outdoor living area, along with a designated parking space. The interiors are warm and inviting, with rich colours, luxurious fabrics and carefully considered details that encourage guests to relax and unwind.

The sitting room is beautifully designed around a semi-circular sofa, making it the perfect space to gather together for conversation, games or a favourite film or series. Four Samsung Smart TVs offer a selection of Sky channels and movies on demand, subject to charges, while LG Bluetooth speakers in the lounge and bedrooms allow you to create the soundtrack to your stay.

The sleek Poggenpohl kitchen, finished in soft grey and white tones, is fully equipped with Siemens appliances to make cooking effortless. Thoughtful luxury touches, including a Dualit 3-in-1 Espressivo coffee machine, ensure everything you need is close at hand. The spacious dining area sits alongside the kitchen, providing a relaxed setting for celebratory meals or leisurely breakfasts.

There are three beautifully styled bedrooms, each dressed in high-quality bedding from the Mascioni hotel collection. A twin room is located on the ground floor, while a winding staircase leads to the first-floor master bedroom and second double bedroom. The master bedroom features a super king bed and a private balcony, ideal for enjoying a morning coffee with a view, while both first-floor rooms benefit from tall, vaulted ceilings that create a bright and airy feel.

Each bedroom is well equipped with a Samsung Smart TV, a safe, a fully stocked automatic minibar and a telephone for contacting the on-site duty manager if required. The accommodation also includes two wet rooms, one on each floor, both finished to a high standard with underfloor heating, Hansgrohe rainfall showers and Temple Spa products. The ground-floor wet room also features a Toto washlet, designed with wellness, cleanliness and sustainability in mind.

Spanning 3,500 sq ft, this beautifully designed five-bedroom house delivers a refined sense of luxury through calm, contemporary style and exceptional attention to detail. Every bedroom features a private en-suite wet room and is equipped with a flat-screen TV, Sealy bed and indulgent Mascioni bed linen, towels and robes, creating a restful and indulgent retreat for each guest. Thoughtfully curated interiors, rich textures and harmonious tones flow throughout the house, offering an atmosphere of relaxed elegance and an experience that is both luxurious and effortlessly comfortable.

For those drawn to the water, Ardlui Retreat offers a wide range of activities to enhance your stay. Jet skis, paddleboards and kayaks are available for hire, along with a diving trampoline for hours of fun, subject to availability. Additional experiences include half-day water skiing, wakeboarding and speedboat tours, all of which are particularly popular during the summer months and should be booked in advance. For a truly special experience, guests may also hire a luxury 10-person Azimut 43-foot flybridge yacht for a tour of the loch, with fine dining available on board, subject to licensing and availability.

On land, guests can hire a motorhome to explore the surrounding area, including Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Mountain bikes are also available for those who wish to explore at a more energetic pace, and a ferry provides access to sections of the West Highland Way for scenic walks.

Wellness facilities include a state-of-the-art gym equipped with Technogym equipment, along with sun stand hire. The gym is shared with other guests at the retreat and can be booked in advance for specific time slots.

Arrochar is an ideal base for exploring some of Scotland’s most dramatic landscapes and outdoor attractions. Nearby highlights include the shores of Loch Long and Loch Lomond, where you can enjoy scenic walks, boat trips and water sports, as well as the iconic Cobbler (Ben Arthur), one of Scotland’s most famous peaks for hiking. The picturesque village of Luss, with its charming cottages and pier, is a short drive away, while Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park offers endless opportunities for cycling, wildlife spotting and breathtaking viewpoints.
