Sentry Cottage in Alnwick provides superb self catering accommodation. We are perfect for exploring Northumberland, including sandy beaches, castles and museums.

Accommodation

Our Georgian cottage dates from 1840 and now offers modern accommodation. The cottage sleeps up to 4 people and includes free parking.

Insside we have a cosy lounge with a wood burning stove, TV and DVD player. This is a lovely place to unwind in after a day sightseeing. The well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances: full-size hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, kettle, filter coffee machine, microwave and washing machine.

We have 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a super-king size bed, feature fireplace and a TV. The 2 other bedrooms have single beds. On the ground floor and upstairs there are 2 WC’s with sinks. A separate shower room comes with a double-size walk-in power shower.

Outside we have an enclosed private courtyard, perfect for al fresco dining over a glass or two.

Visting Alnwick & Exploring Northumberland

You can discover all that the local area has to offer whilst staying with us. Visit Alnwick Castle or Alnwick Gardens. You can also visit Barter Books, a former Victorian railway station that sells books and homemade food. Alnwick also has lots of shops, restaurants and cafes. Attractions to visit include:

Bailiffgate Museum.
Dunstanburgh Castle.
Alnmouth Beach.
Warkworth Castle.
Fusiliers Museum of Northumberland.
