A luxurious and comfortable "home from home" experience for extended families, walkers and explorers, literally 25 steps from the gate on to the Long Mynd hill and Cardingmill Valley and a few minutes walk from the bustling historic market town of Church Stretton.

The most relaxing base to explore the Long Mynd, combining a great location, stunning views, and premium facilities without losing any of the cosiness and comfort of a home.

We have permanent bed space for seven adults as well as a double sofa bed, several pull out beds and a cot, on request, to help your unique group of up to 11 people to holiday together.

Fitted out to 5 star standards but with an emphasis on comfort, comprising:

- An ensuite family room with kingsize bed, day bed, trundle bed and space for a cot.
- A kingsize room with room for a pull out.
- A twin room which converts to a superking on request.

Ensuite shower room, family bath with shower and large downstairs shower room with on demand hot water throughout.

So you can get as muddy as you like on the hills, come through the mud room with its boot rack, clothes airer, washer and tumble drier, and get showered and warm in front of the cosy gas fire.

Or on warm days raise a glass on the terrace with a BBQ and relax!

Large kitchen diner with lots of cooking equipment, space for food, and place settings for 10-12 of most items, you can have a big family meal here. Full size freezer, two fridges, microwave, oven/grill/hob, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, food processor. Table in the kitchen seats 6-8 and the dining table in the living room / diner extends to 10 seats so everyone can get a seat at the table!

Cozy living room with huge picture window and door to the terrace, has a smart TV and plenty of DVDs, books, games and toys.

Ample parking for several cars and a secure garage with locks and cleaning equipment for bikes.

Mature gardens at front and back, these are on a slope so not suitable for less mobile guests but very pretty and back on to lovely trees for a woodland feel. Children should be supervised in the garden.

Families - We provide lots of equipment for families with children, including stairgates, bathroom equipment, high chairs, games and toys, please see our website for more details.

Accessibility - The ground floor of the house is very well set up for up to two mobile guests as there is a sofa bed and a downstairs shower and everything including the terrace is on one level. However the house sits at the top of a steep hill and the intersecting slopes of the drive and the necessary steps and level changes because of the position make it unsuitable for most wheelchair users. This would not be an ideal house for guests with moderate to severe mobility issues. If in doubt, please contact us and ask and we can talk it through to see if it can work for you, and we also have an accessibility statement on our website.

Short breaks (minimum 3 nights) except at high season – from £150-175 per night.
Full weeks from £890 to £990.

The standard price is for a group of up to 9 adults / children.
We can accommodate up to 4 extra people on pull outs and sofa bed, at £20 per person per stay to cover increased laundry costs.
Infants in a travel cot are free.

We offer a 10% small group discount for one or two people using one bedroom.

Welcome pack, linen, towels, loo roll, toiletries and staples like washing up liquid, cleaning cloths, oil, vinegar, salt and pepper are all provided free of charge and we don’t charge for extras like stairgates or cots.
