Half Moon House offers fabulous self catering accommodation in the charming hamlet of Walsingham. Our house is perfect for exploring Norfolk, just 1 mile from Little Walsingham and 4 miles from Wells-next-the-Sea.
Accommodation
Our traditional Norfolk and flint cottage dates from the 1700s and has been recently renovated to offer modern accommodation. The house sleeps up to 8 people and there is space for a travel cot.On the ground floor, we have a new kitchen with a range of appliances: fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and Nespresso machine. A large oak table seats 8. You can unwind in the dual-aspect sitting room after a day sightseeing in front of the large inglenook fireplace with a wood burner. A utility/boot is based under the stairs.
On the first floor are two bedrooms, 1 twin and 1 king room that share a luxury family bathroom with a bath and shower cubicle. The ground floor has 2 king-size rooms, both modern en suite facilities.
Outside we have a south west facing, private courtyard with a charcoal BBQ and outdoor furniture, offering a great place for a drink or two in the afternoon sun.
Visiting Walsingham & Exploring Norfolk
We are in a great location for exploring the area. Just over the road is a famous studio that has two art galleries, a gift shop and a cafe. Just a 15-minute walk from us is Little Walsingham, home to a range of pubs and cafes. The local area has lots of gorgeous countryside to enjoy, perfect for walks and cycle rides. Attractions to visit include:Holkham Hall.
Pensthorpe.
National Trust - Blakeney National Nature Reserve.
Blickling Hall.
Holkham National Nature Reserve.
