Turtola offer charming self catering accommodation on our croft at Doire-Aonar, offering stunning views over Loch Shieldaig to the Torridon Mountains. Our unique Finish log cabin near Strathcarron is the perfect place to escape from the pressure of modern life. We are right on the coast and further afield you can visit a range of excellent attractions in Wester- Ross.

Accommodation

Our magical log cabin is a haven for nature lovers, offering wonderful views of the local wildlife, loch and countryside. We truly offer the ultimate in relaxation and tranquillity.

The cabin sleeps up to 4 people and is tastefully furnished throughout to suit all your needs. A well-equipped kitchen is great for home-cooking and includes a washing machine, fridge, toaster, hob, coffee machine, microwave, freezer, oven and grill. Unwind in the relaxing living room which has a wood burner, TV and DVD player.

Two attractive bedrooms are available: a twin and a double. Both rooms share a ground floor shower room and a ground floor WC. You even have a sauna to relax in. All bed linen and towels are included.

Visiting Shieldaig & Exploring Wester-Ross

The quaint village of Shieldaig offers glorious scenery, including gorgeous loch and countryside walks. Take a delightful boat trip from Shieldaig on a yacht or hike around the Torridon Mountains. The village is also home to an all-weather sports facility for tennis or play on one of the golf courses at Lochcarron and Gairloch. Great attractions to visit include:
