This charming timber-framed cottage provides a strong connection with history along with modern conveniences and tastefully decor.

About The Gildhall

The Gildhall can accommodate 6 people in 3 bedrooms. These consist of two king size and a double bed with allbedrooms on the first floor.

Downstairs is a spacious living room with large sofa orientated around a fireplace with imitation log burning stove. French doors lead out onto a terrace,gardens and large park beyond. The farmhouse kitchen has an:

There is a separate dining room which has seating for 8.

Outside is an enclosed garden with seating.

Visiting Higham & Exploring Suffolk

Higham stands on the north bank of the River Brett. It is known for its links to the 18th Century painter John Constable. The area surrounding The Gildhall is a haven for walkers. Some of these include Box Valley Walk and Brett Valley Walk.
