A stunning property that has been decorated and furnished to the highest of standards, providing guests with a place to stay that feels luxurious and homely. This 19th century farmhouse is a wonderful place for families and friends to rest, relax and recuperate. Amenities and features include:

Living room with wood burner, curved Smart Apple TV, Blu-Ray player and Sonos sound system.
Second reception room with wood burner, Freesat TV and Sonos sound system.
Fully fitted and well equipped kitchen/dining room with Sonos sound system.
Utility room.
Billiards room.

The house has 5 beautiful bedrooms, each of which is made ready for your arrival. On the ground floor is a double room, with the remaining 4 bedrooms being on the first floor. All upstairs bedrooms can be made into super king size beds or twin beds depending on your requirements. So please let us know when booking what room layout you require.

Outside is plenty of space for you to relax whilst children and dogs play. There is an enclosed lawned garden with sitting area and garden furniture. You are also very welcome to explore our 5000 acre, unspoilt grounds with woodland. We just ask that dogs are kept on a lead at all time as we are surrounded by farmland with sheep.

The Barwhillanty Estate is a 5000 acre estate in the beautiful Galloway Hills. Those who enjoy spending time in the great outdoors will love visiting, as there are a plethora of walks, trails and routes waiting to be explored, as well as plenty of nature watching opportunities. The surrounding area also offers a tremendous amount of activities, so you will never be bored during your stay. You will find:
