Wall Nook Cottages are a pair of superbly appointed holiday homes in the hamlet of Beckside. Our accommodation is nestled in the Cartmel Valley, on the edge of the Lake District National Park.
We have tried our best to ensure that both of our cottages include everything you need for an enjoyable stay.

A superbly appointed and cosy retreat, ideal for two. The rural setting is complimented by the modern open plan layout inside. Expect a relaxing but contemporary living room, kitchen and dining area with all mod cons included. Upstairs is a spacious bedroom with vaulted ceiling, exposed beams and a beautiful king size bed. There's also a luxurious en suite bathroom with modern shower and bath.
A perfect cosy retreat for four. You can expect floor to ceiling French windows opening onto the terrace, from the comfortable living room and well equipped kitchen diner plus 2 large bedrooms and a bathroom on each level.
Beckside is just a short drive from Cartmel, a lovely Cumbrian village. It has a medieval square and Priory, some charming shops, world famous restaurants and attractive pubs. It is also within easy reach of many attractions in the Lake District. Cartmel is popular with foodies and is home to a variety of Lakeland inns, tea rooms and gourmet restaurants. No matter the time of year you choose to visit, you will find that there are plenty of events that all ages can enjoy, such as:

We are a mile and a half from the medieval Priory which is the oldest and prettiest racecourse in England.
