Bertha’s Cottage is a comfortable two-bedroom retreat with adjacent parking and a layout that includes an open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area with a wood-burning stove, Freeview TV and DVD player. The ground floor double bedroom has an ensuite wet-room shower and mountain views, while upstairs a second bedroom features a double bed, an additional small single if needed, exposed beams, a Velux window with views toward White Pike and an ensuite bathroom. A utility room provides extra storage along with a washer and fridge freezer and outside, guests can enjoy a paved patio with garden furniture.
Lind End Cottage is a cosy one-bedroom retreat in the Lickle Valley, six miles southwest of Coniston Water. The front door opens into a hallway with space for outdoor clothing and stairs leading to the first floor. The ground floor features a combined lounge, kitchen and dining area with a comfortable sofa, television with Sky free channels, DVD player, domino induction hob, electric oven, fridge freezer and dining table, all warmed by underfloor heating via an air source heat pump. Upstairs, the bedroom offers a vaulted ceiling, skylights with blackout blinds, a bespoke double bed, shower, separate toilet with wash basin, radiator and another TV with Sky free channels.
The Log Cabin is warm and comfortable with lovely views and a fully fitted galley kitchen equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave and fridge freezer. It includes a shower room, one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, sleeping up to four guests, it has electric heating throughout. Outside, guests can enjoy a decked and lawned area with garden furniture.
Explore the local area and enjoy the coast, lakes and nearby Lakeland towns and villages. Just a short distance away, the market town of Broughton-in-Furness offers a butcher selling locally reared produce, a greengrocer, an organic bakery and café and a Post Office with daily newspapers and gifts.
