The Bullpen

Our 4 star award winning property is a contemporary and luxurious property which sleeps up to 2 people. There is 1 double bedroom (with zip and link beds which can be made up as a super king size bed or twin bed). The property benefits from having a charming and spacious open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area. The kitchen is fully equipped area and includes a range of excellent appliances: dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge freezer, electric hob, oven and microwave. The lounge includes a comfy sofa and TV with Blue ray player, perfect for unwinding in after a busy day exploring the local area.

Guests can relax in their own private hot tub.

The Byre

Our gorgeous 4 star award winning property is contemporary, spacious and sleeps up to 6 people. On the first floor are two double bedrooms, both with zip and link beds, which can be made up as a super king size bed or twin beds. There is also a separate shower room and toilet. On the ground floor is a double bedroom and family bathroom with bath and separate walk in shower.

The property benefits from having a large open kitchen/dining/lounge area. The kitchen comes with an array of superb appliances: dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge freezer, hob, oven and microwave. The cosy lounge has a 4K HD TV and Blue ray player and outside guests can enjoy relaxing in a private hot tub.

The Hayloft and The Stables

These properties enjoy glorious views of the surrounding area. Both properties sleep up to 4 people and include a double bedroom and twin bedroom. The cottages also have delightful lounge/kitchen/dining areas. The kitchens are fully equipped and the lounge includes a TV and DVD player. A cot and high chair are available.

Outside there is off road parking and a shared lawn with garden furniture, perfect for relaxing on whilst admiring the spectacular views.

Local Area

Stranraer has a number of quality outlets offering local produce. Loch’s Store is worth a visit if you want to purchase some fine single Malts. The Ryan Centre provides fitness suite, free weights suite, indoor games courts, swimming pool, sauna, cinema and live concerts/theatre. Spoutwells Holiday Cottages are about ten minutes’ walk from town and a 3 minute drive. There are three golf courses within an 11 mile radius of the properties.

Visitor attractions in Stranraer include the Castle of St John, a round tower built in 1500 from which the Sheriff of Wigtown, Graham of Claverhouse, conducted vicious campaigns against the Covenanters and was later used as a prison. Further local history can be found at the Stranraer Museum – which itself is well worth a visit. The Rhins of Galloway are worth exploring in their own right.
