Weir Cottage offers superb self catering accommodation in a stunning position, boasting breathtaking views over Restronguet Creek and the Carrick Roads. The property adjoins a private shingle beach, perfect for launching a small boat by prior arrangement. A deepwater mooring is also available. We are close to Falmouth and great for an idyllic break in Cornwall.
Accommodation
Our beautiful cottage is ideal for a special break in a scenic and tranquil setting. The cottage is tastefully furnished and comes with a range of excellent facilities.A porch leads to the main sitting which has an open fire, TV with Sky and DVD player. On the ground floor is a second sitting room which comes with a CD stereo and a small study. A spacious kitchen/dining room has a built-in fridge, oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave, with French windows which open onto a lovely garden. A utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer, as well as a separate cloakroom.
Upstairs there are four bedrooms, all of which enjoy amazing views over the water. The master bedroom has a double en suite and a double and two twins are also available. All bed linen and towels are included. A bathroom comes with a shower and WC and a separate WC is also available.
Outside there is a lovely garden to enjoy and a BBQ is available, great for al fresco dining whilst savouring the view.
Visiting Restronguet Weir & Exploring Cornwall
Only a short walk along the Creekside footpath is the 13th Century Pandora Inn. Access involves crossing a tidal beach. Mylor Yacht Harbour is just a short drive away and the house is perfectly placed for all that Cornwall has to offer, from the magnificent coastline and beaches to glorious gardens, castles and museums. Great attractions to visit include:Pendennis Castle.
