Moo Barn is a spacious, luxurious and beautifully converted barn, offering a peaceful retreat at the end of a private lane, surrounded by rolling organic farmland in the heart of the unspoiled Roseland Peninsula. Designed for relaxation, it provides a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, making it an ideal getaway for families, friends and those looking to unwind in the Cornish countryside.
Inside, Moo Barn offers a welcoming and spacious environment while maintaining a cosy, rustic feel. Exposed roof beams and a log fire create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The barn comfortably accommodates up to eight guests, with the option of adding up to two cots. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms: a king-size, a double and a twin, each with its own en-suite bathroom featuring either a bath or shower. On the ground floor, there is a twin bedroom with an adjacent en-suite, making it particularly appealing for guests who may need easier access. The front and back doors, as well as the downstairs shower, have low thresholds to assist with accessibility.
Outside, a large walled garden provides a safe and beautifully maintained space for children to play, while adults can unwind with a glass of wine and a barbecue on warm summer evenings. Comfortable outdoor furniture allows guests to fully enjoy the peaceful surroundings, making it the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring all that Cornwall has to offer.
Moo Barn is not just a holiday destination, it is also the perfect setting for special family celebrations, whether it’s a birthday, wedding anniversary, honeymoon, or simply a much-needed gathering of loved ones. It’s a fantastic place to enjoy Christmas and New Year, offering a cosy and festive atmosphere complete with a real Christmas tree and a roaring log fire. Low-season short breaks are also available for those looking for a peaceful winter escape.
Centrally located, Moo Barn is the perfect base for exploring Cornwall. It’s close to the charming old fishing village of Mevagissey, as well as renowned attractions such as The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project. The surfing beaches of the north coast are within easy reach, as are adventure parks for children, an array of fantastic restaurants serving diverse cuisines and, of course, the breathtaking landscapes that make Cornwall such a special place to visit. Whatever your interests, you’ll find plenty to see and do.
