Sunny Corner is a cosy holiday home for 2 that overlooks the harbour at Penzance in Cornwall. Our clean and contemporary self catering apartment is only a short walk from the town centre, at the bottom of the famous Chapel Street where the news of Lord Nelson’s death was first brought to England.
Our holiday home has been converted from one of the old harbour side buildings and is a lovely holiday home for a couple. The apartment still retains many of the original character features while offering a modern home that feels like your own.
As you enter the holiday apartment you will be drawn to the original roof beams that have been carefully restored and exposed. This room is very much open plan and has a fully fitted kitchen area that includes a fridge freezer, washer/dryer, microwave and a dishwasher. The chocolate brown sofas also double up as the third and fourth guest bed and the lounge are also has a Freeview TV and DVD player for your entertainment along with a table and chairs for 4.
There is one double bedroom which has views over the harbour. The main bathroom has a shower over the bath.
Our holiday apartment is perfectly situated and only a short stroll from England’s biggest open air swimming pool. You can then continue along The Promenade to the fishing port of Newlyn.
Located on the doorstep of our holiday home is Penzance Harbour and the superb Marine Discovery team who offer trips of a lifetime exploring the coastline of Mounts Bay. Trips could encounter inquisitive grey seals and graceful seabirds, or various species of dolphins and porpoises, enigmatic ocean sunfish or even giants such as mink whales, basking sharks and leatherback turtles.
