The Moorings in Sidnish offers fabulous self catering accommodation, based on a gorgeous sea loch. Our Scottish retreat in North Uist is the perfect place to stay for wildlife lovers and is ideally placed for exploring the Western Isles.
Accommodation
Our cottage sleeps up to 6 people and features modern facilities throughout. We are a great place for birdwatching and fishing.We have a living toom with a TV, DVD player, fireplace and seating, offering a great place to relax after a day sightseeing. The fully-equipped kitchen includes a range of appliances: dishwasher, freezer, cooker, fridge, microwave, tumble dryer and washing machine. A separate dining area includes a high chair and offers stunning views.
In total, we have 3 bedrooms: 1 double and 2 twins. All the rooms share a bathroom with a shower over bath.
Outside we have a garden to relax in whilst enjoying the views of the landscape.
Visting Sidnish and exploring the Western Isles
You can see lots of wildlife whilst staying with us, including deer, otters and sea eagles. Only 4 miles from us is Lochmaddy, home to a museum, cafe, gift shop and the Taigh Chearsabhagh Arts Centre. You can visit the Hebridean Smokehouse which produces smoked salmon and has a gift shop and viewing gallery. Attractions to visit include:Balranald Nature Reserve.
