West Tarbert offers charming self catering accommodation just a short stroll from Tarbert. We are based in a stunning coastal setting on the Isle of Harris and in a great location for discovering all that the Western Isles has to offer.

This wonderful cottage is the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life and comes with everything you need for a peaceful getaway.

On the ground floor is a lovely sitting room with satellite TV and a DVD player. The kitchen is great for home-cooking and includes a dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, blender, iron and ironing board, electric built-in oven and ceramic hob. Enjoy some delicious meals around the dining area. On the ground floor there is also a double room and large shower room.

Upstairs there is a double and twin room. All the rooms include lovely bed linen and towels.

We are only a ten minute walk to the amazing beach and only 15 minutes from the Tarbert Ferry Terminals. The village of Tarbert has a post office, bank hotels and a selection of shops. The town of Stornoway is only an hours’ drive away. The area has much to offer those who enjoy walking, fishing, golf, bird watching, wonderful scenery, photography and the opportunity to lie on breathtakingly beautiful sandy beaches. Great attractions to visit include:

West Loch Shores.
Barmore Island.
