Cnoc Nan Uan offers self catering facilities, located at Tigharry on the Isle of North Uist in the Western Isles. Approximately one mile away is the Balranald Nature Reserve where the RSPB have a visitors' centre. The corncrake can be heard (and sometimes seen) on our croft.

Entrance to the guest apartment is through the front porch. It can sleep up to 4 people and is ideal for couples and families. There are two upstairs bedrooms, a double with full en suite facilities and a twin with adjacent private bathroom. The bedrooms are warm, comfortable and relaxing. There is a Freeview TV/DVD and hairdryer in each bedroom. Linen and towels are always provided.

Our accommodation has a well equipped downstairs guest kitchen where there is a 4-ring induction hob and cooker hood, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine. There is a good selection of dishes, cutlery, utensils, glasses, pots and pans etc. We will be happy to provide any other required item upon request.

Guests are welcome to use our conservatory which is ideal for relaxing in at the end of the day. The setting is tranquil, the birdlife is fascinating to watch and some beautiful sunrises and rainbows may be seen.

Our lodge offers spacious accommodation for up to 5 people in 2 doubles and 1 single. The lodge is fully adapted for people with disabilities. The sleeping area also acts as the lounge, offering a smart TV and dining table. The large private toilet/shower room is wheelchair accessible.

The fully-equipped kitchen has 4 induction rings (no oven), a fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, kettle, George Foreman grill and slow cooker. Outside there is a picnic table for al fresco dining.

For those who want a true get away break we really are the ideal venue.

As well as being located in a beautiful part of the Western Isles, away from the hustle and bustle of busy city life, we are also an ideal base for those who enjoy birdwatching and wildlife spotting. We enjoy the best of both coastal and country wildlife.
