Our ground-floor cottage is situated down a private drive between two fishponds, with coarse fishing available for guests only to enjoy.

Inside this renovated cattle shed is a beamed open plan living area that enjoys stunning views. You can catch your favourite show in front of the Sky TV and stay toasty in front of the wood burner. We also have a sun-filled conservatory to unwind in whilst enjoying the views.

Rustle up some delicious dishes in the fully-equipped kitchen that comes with a range of appliances: an electric oven and hob, microwave fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Enjoy some home-cooked meals around the dining table.

A king-size bed is perfect for a restful night’s sleep after a day sightseeing. The en suite comes with a whirlpool bath, separate shower, WC and wash basin.

Outside there is a patio/enclosed garden with a table and chairs for al fresco dining over a few glasses of wine. You can also let off some steam in the home gym. Beyond the garden are lovely walks and a stream.

We are in the ideal location for exploring the Peak District, with lots of attractions to enjoy. Enjoy a scenic ride on the Churnet Valley steam railway or visit the gardens at Biddulph Grange and Consall Hall. The area also has an abundance of ancient National Trust properties to enjoy and you can visit the nearby town of Leek. Attractions to visit include:
