Quarry House Moneystone offers self catering accommodation in Oakamoor. This renovated cottage comes with a lovely garden and large paddock attached. Our cottage is perfect for exploring a range of attractions in Staffordshire and close to the Peak National Park.
Accommodation
This cottage comes with underfloor heating, original wooden beams and quarry titles. The property sleeps up to 4 people plus 2 children in 2 comfortable bedrooms. Two bathrooms are also available. The cosy lounge is perfect for relaxing in. Facilities include a lovely wood burner and comfy sofas. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances to suit all your needs. The Rayburn range cooker is next to the dining room. A cot/junior bed, high chair, stair gate, Moses basket and baby bath are all available on request. Outside is a pretty enclosed garden to relax in. We also have a 3/4 of an acre paddock, ideal for dogs to stretch their legs in.We also offer accommodation in The Pod which sleeps 2 in a twin or double room. Facilities include a WC and washbasin, wardrobe, heating and TV. Please note the pod can only be booked with the cottage.
Visiting Oakamoor & Exploring Staffordshire
Oakamoor is a pretty village which is a great place for outdoor enthusiasts. The scenic countryside is perfect for walkers, runners and riders. Within 30 minutes’ drive from the cottage are the market towns of Ashbourne, Buxton, Cheadle, Leek and Uttoxeter. We are also within driving distance of Derbyshire. Many National Trust houses are nearby and children will love the opportunity to create their own pots at The Gladstone Pottery Museum in Longton. You can also visit the Hanley Museum and admire the Spitfire aircraft. A number of attractions are nearby:The stunning Peak District National Park just 5 minutes drive away.
