Ingestre Lodges offer wonderful self catering accommodation in the charming village of Ingestre, nestled in the heart of England. Our properties near Stafford are perfect for a tranquil getaway and in a brilliant position for exploring Staffordshire.
We offer fabulous accommodation in two luxurious, boutique properties. The lodges have been beautifully renovated from a Victorian building, offering modern accommodation whilst still retaining original features. Magnificent features include grand ceiling heights, oak paneling, sandstone corbels, cedarwood beams, ironwork and original tiling.
The unique properties have been wonderfully styled by Oscar-winning designer Luciana Arrighi, with lots of pieces of furniture coming from films including Sense and Sensibility, Howards End, Women in Love and Anna & the King.
There are many things to do in the local area including visiting Shugbourough Hall, the ancestral home of the Earls of Lichfield, now owned by the National Trust and less than two miles away. Alton Towers can be easily reached from the self catering accommodation and is the perfect place to visit for a great day out. There are a huge range of rides and attractions as well as restaurants.
The Trent and Mersey canal is nearby and the surrounding countryside is excellent for walking, cycling and horse riding. The renowned Ingestre Park Golf Club is just down the road and warmly welcomes visitors. Superb attractions to visit include:
