Keepers Cottage is a self catering holiday cottage outside of Wem near Shrewsbury that can sleep up to 6 people. It is on the Soulton Hall Estate and is part of a collection of holiday cottages that all offer self catering holiday accommodation. We are ideal for exploring Shropshire.

This is an enchanting holiday cottage and accessed half a mile down a private lane. The stone core of the cottage dates from the 1500s, but benefits from brick and timber extensions. The sitting/dining room (with open fire) opens onto the private garden. Guests can observe the wildlife and beauty of this charming location. This cottage is a magical place to be in during Springtime when the bluebells open. In Autumn time you can enjoy the woodland leaves which are golden brown. The woods surrounding the cottage have been referred to as 'Narnia' in the Winter when the snow falls.

This cottage can accommodate up to 6 people in 3 double/twin rooms. Our holiday has been rejuvenated and includes 3 brand new en suite bathrooms. A large and comfortable sitting room is perfect for relaxing in. The spacious kitchen/dining room includes an electric oven, electric hob, microwave, dishwasher, tumble dryer, washing machine and fridge/freezer. Outside the cottage has a lawned garden with a low holly hedge looking over the barn and across to Soulton Wood. A large gravelled area with parking for 3/4 cars available.

You can explore glorious Shropshire countryside. You go on country walks in our private woodland and farm or by the river banks. Here you will find rare wildlife. Our location is ideal for those who want to escape to the peace and tranquillity of the North Shropshire countryside. We are also a great base for visiting the many attractions and places of interest in the heart of England. Several National Trust houses and gardens are nearby and the following activities are all available in the local area:

Rates: From £577 - £818 per week depending on season.
Maximum of 6 people in the largest cottage.
