Rosalynde's Cottage is a self catering holiday cottage outside of Wem near Shrewsbury that can sleep up to 6 people. It is on the Soulton Hall Estate and is part of a collection of holiday cottages that all offer self catering holiday accommodation. We are ideal for exploring Shropshire.

This is an enchanting holiday cottage and accessed half a mile down a private lane. The stone core of the cottage dates from the 1500s, but benefits from brick and timber extensions. The sitting/dining room (with open fire) opens onto the private garden. Guests can observe the wildlife and beauty of this charming location. This cottage is a magical place to be in during Springtime when the bluebells open. In Autumn time you can enjoy the woodland leaves which are golden brown. The woods surrounding the cottage have been referred to as 'Narnia' in the Winter when the snow falls.

Discover the beauty of the Shropshire countryside with peaceful walks through our private woodland, farmland and along the scenic riverbanks, where you may spot rare wildlife in its natural habitat. Our location offers the perfect escape for those seeking peace and tranquillity in the heart of North Shropshire. At the same time, we’re ideally situated as a base for exploring the many attractions and places of interest across the heart of England. Several National Trust houses and gardens are nearby and the following activities are all available in the local area:

Rates: From £577 - £818 per week depending on season.
Maximum of 6 people in the largest cottage.
Children are welcome.
