Darwin Barn offers outstanding self catering accommodation in the delightful hamlet of Goldstone, set in 12 acres of gorgeous farmland. Our unique barns near Market Drayton have been beautifully converted, offering an unforgettable getaway in a wonderful part of Shropshire.

Accommodation

Our gorgeous barn dates from the 1900s and offer modern accommodation whilst retaining original features, including original wooden beams. The barn boasts stunning countryside views and are in the ideal location for exploring the area.

Our cosy barn sleeps up to 6 people and is perfect for a memorable family or group getaway. The barn is brimming with character includes beamed ceilings and flagstone floors. Underfloor heating will keep you warm in the winter months. Cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen which has an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, a fridge freezer and a washing machine.

The property has 5 Freeview TVs (including a 42’’ smart TV) and consists of 3 bedrooms: 2 double en suite and a twin en suite. The barn enjoys shared access to a garden with an outside seating area and barbecue. There is a lake for wild swimming.

While staying with us you can make the most of the local area, whether it's scenic bike rides, visiting historical castles or enjoying family attractions such as Alton Towers, there is something for everyone. Nearby Market Drayton is on the John O’Groats to Land’s End cycle route and has an array of fabulous canal towpaths. You can stroll around the stunning gardens at Wollerton Old Hall or catch a bite to eat at a local restaurant. Great attractions to visit include:
