Girnick Cottage provides fantastic self catering accommodation in Kelso, set in beautiful countryside. We are a brilliant base for exploring Roxburghshire and visiting an array of great attractions in the Scottish Borders.

Accommodation

Our luxurious cottage sleeps up to 5 people and provides excellent accommodation. This ground-level property has parking for 2 cars.

Inside there is a lounge/dining room, a well-equipped kitchen, 1 double bedroom, 1 twin which can be made into a double, 1 single bedroom and a bathroom with a shower over the bath. A travel cot is available if required.

Superb facilities include an open fire, bed linen and towels, Freeview TV, DVD player, electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave and washer/dryer.

Outside there is an enclosed garden with furniture for al fresco dining when the sun is shining.

Visiting Kelso & Exploring the Scottish Borders

The local area is brimming with history, offering majestic castles, magnificent houses and stunning abbeys. Two brilliant 18 hole championship golf courses are nearby and walkers can enjoy part of the Southern Upland Way, Borders Abbeys Way and hill walking. Cyclists are also spoilt for choice, with the Tweed Cycle Way and the Four Abbeys Way nearby. Wonderful attractions to visit include:

Kelso Abbey.
Roxburgh Castle.
Yetholm Loch.
