Sandholm Holiday Cottage is a 19th Century property situated just outside the Scottish Borders village of Newcastleton. The cottage offers self catering accommodation which is surrounded by stunning countryside and rolling hills.
This lovely cottage can accommodate 4 in a double en suite and twin room.
The living room comes complete with wood burning stove, 32" LCD TV, Wi-Fi, games, DVDs and local guides. There is a fully equipped kitchen which has a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and dining table. The kitchen has patio doors which open onto a terrace area.
This holiday cottage also benefits from having a utility room with washing facilities and storage for bikes.
Outside the self catering cottage has gardens to the front, side and rear. A raised timber deck with patio table and chairs looks out over the rear garden, across open fields, down to the river. A barbeque and parasol are provide for use in the summer.
There are a wide range of leisure activities in the area including cycling, walking, golfing, horse riding and fishing. This is also a great place to stay for visiting Hermitage Castle, Hadrian's Wall, Border Abbeys, Melrose Abbey and Carlisle Castle.
