Red Squirrel Lodge

Red Squirrel Cabin offers a comfortable and tranquil self-catering retreat designed for 1-2 guests in one bedroom. The cabin features quality Super King or full-size single beds ensuring a peaceful night's sleep, complemented by underfloor heating throughout for warmth and comfort in every season. Thoughtfully equipped with convenience and well-being in mind, it includes an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and full underfloor heating. The single storey layout provides easy access with front door parking, while large front windows and covered deck spaces offer splendid views and a close connection with nature. Additional amenities such as fast WIFI and 22kw EV charging enhance the overall convenience of your stay.

Pine Marten Cabin

Pine Marten Cabin offers a cosy and rejuvenating self-catering retreat designed for 2-4 guests, accommodating either one or two bedrooms. In the event that Red Squirrel Cabin is fully booked, Pine Marten Cabin can be provided as a one-bedroom option at a reduced rate. The cabin features quality Super King or full-size single beds ensuring a comfortable night's rest, alongside underfloor heating throughout for a warm and inviting getaway throughout the year. Thoughtfully crafted with convenience and well-being in mind, it includes two en suite bathrooms with walk-in showers and full underfloor heating. The single storey layout provides easy access with front door parking, while large front windows and covered deck spaces offer panoramic views and a serene connection with nature. Additional amenities such as fast WIFI and 22kw EV charging are also available to enhance your stay.

Ecotone Cabins sit in their own clearing on the edge of Leckmelm Wood, a 32-hectare former Forestry Commission Scotland plantation. Acquired by our family and a friend in 1992, we've been transforming this once-unmanaged, species-poor area into a diverse woodland. Our aim is to foster a healthier, more productive ecosystem for wildlife and people alike.
