Accommodation

Our charming bungalow is the perfect place to escape form the pressures of modern. The bungalow is tastefully furnished and surrounded by glorious countryside.

After a busy day sightseeing, unwind in the cosy lounge that includes a stove, TV with Freeview, DVD player, CD player and radio. The lounge also boasts stunning views of Hafren Forest through the patio doors. Enjoy some home cooking in the fully-fitted oak kitchen that includes an electric cooker, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and freezer. Savour some delicious meals around the dining table.

In total, there are 3 beautiful bedrooms. The master room comes with a king-size bed. The family room has a double and single bed, whilst a double room is also available. There is a bath/shower room and a separate WC/basin.

Outside there are enclosed, landscaped gardens with garden furniture for al fresco dining whilst savouring the setting.

Visiting Llanidloes & Exploring Powys

Red kites are frequent visitors to the skies above the cottage. The historic market town of Llanidloes, the first town on the Severn, lies just 2.5 miles to the east with its many inns and family pubs providing good food and a friendly atmosphere, interesting small shops and many places of interest to visit. It's a short drive to the Hafren Forest (where you can find the source of the Severn), or to the dramatic Llyn Clywedog. The seaside at Aberystwyth and Ynys-Hir nature reserve (featured on Springwatch) are about 45 minutes away. Great attractions to visit include:

National Trust - Powis Castle and Garden.
National Showcaves Centre for Wales.
Pistyll Rhaeadr.
Lake Vyrnwy.
Elan Valley.
