Dunard offers charming self catering accommodation in central Stromness. We are located in a lovely part of Orkney, offering stunning views of Stromness harbour and Scapa Flow.

Accommodation

Our beautifully furnished property offers everything you need for a relaxing and tranquil holiday. The cottage sleeps up to 4 people and includes private parking.

A well-equipped kitchen comes with underfloor heating and a range of appliances to suit all your needs. You can unwind in the cosy living area which has Freeview TV, a selection of books and DVDs, a toasty log burner, comfortable seating and a dining table. The living area also offers wonderful views.

Two double bedrooms are available, with both including Freeview TV. Fresh linen and towels are provided. Both rooms share a bathroom with an electric shower.

Outside there is a sun house and garden to enjoy. Both are great spots for a glass of wine whilst savouring the view.

Visiting Stromness & Exploring Orkney

Stromness is located on the shore of Hamnavoe and is the main ferry port on Orkney, with lots to do and see. We are only a two-minute walk from the local shops, pubs, cafes and restaurant links. Explore the atmospheric alleyways or visit the Stromness Museum and the renowned Piers Arts Centre. Further attractions to visit include:

Maes Howe.
Skara Brae Prehistoric Village.
Standing Stones of Stenness.
