Our gorgeous holiday home is tranquil and secluded, making us perfect for a relaxing and comfortable holiday away. Millhill Cottage has easy access on one level, perfect for wheelchair users. The cottage can sleep up to 5 adults and 1 child. There are 3 bedrooms to choose from: a master bedroom which has both a king size bed and en suite shower and there is a twin room as well. There is also a third bedroom with a single bed and pull out bed, offering a safe and comfortable resting place for children. The cottage has a spacious open plan kitchen/dining/sitting area. The kitchen is fully equipped and comes with a range of appliances: induction hob, fridge and dishwasher. You can find a fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer in the separate utility room.
Facilities include: free Wi-Fi, freeview flat screen TV and DVD player. There is also underfloor heating to ensure you stay warm and toasty on those chilly evenings. All bed linen and towels are provided. A high chair and travel cot are available on request.
There are solar panels for hot water and air source heating, topped up by electricity.
A local company provides hot tub services – please enquire for details if looking for use of hot tub during your stay.
It is private, safe and surrounded by great activities to do on your own or as a group or family; there are some fantastic long and short walks, cycling routes, unpolluted by light if you have a clear night the skies can be perfect for stargazing, and you can even take up a bit of bird watching with Millhill Cottage being a popular hangout for various species, including a certain short eared owl in particular. Oystercatchers also make their home on the property.
