This welcoming cottage, with its own secluded garden, comfortably sleeps up to six guests. Located just minutes from the front door are Holy Island Castle, Lindisfarne Priory, sprawling sandy beaches, scenic walking paths, stunning views, a fishing harbour and a selection of characterful pubs.
Accommodation
Upon entering, the hallway greets you with a beautiful stone-flagged floor and ample space to hang coats and store boots and shoes by the radiator. There is a convenient downstairs loo tucked beneath the stairs, surprisingly spacious and thoughtfully positioned. The kitchen and dining area blend modern convenience with traditional charm, featuring an old stone-flagged floor, an electric oven with a ceramic hob, a microwave, a dishwasher, a fridge and a coffee machine. The dining table, set beside double glass French doors, opens onto the patio and garden, creating a lovely spot where many family meals and gatherings have been enjoyed. Adjacent to the kitchen, a small utility room houses a freezer and a washer/dryer for added convenience. The sitting room is a cosy retreat with a bay window overlooking the front, a beamed ceiling and an old wooden floor. A living flame gas fire adds warmth and ambiance, while the room also features a TV with Freeview channels, a DVD player and a selection of books and games. A three-seater sofa and two armchairs provide ample space for everyone to unwind.Upstairs, the master bedroom exudes character with its old wooden floor, a comfortable king-size bed and a TV. The en-suite bathroom is spacious, offering a full-size bath with an overhead shower. The second bedroom also features old wooden flooring, twin beds and a generous en-suite with a large corner shower cubicle.
Outside, the cottage boasts a lovely enclosed private garden with a lawn extending from the back. Two patio areas furnished with garden furniture provide inviting spaces to relax and enjoy the outdoors in this peaceful setting.
