Swallow Barn - Sleeps 8

The Swallow Barn is stunning, featuring artisan-crafted lighting in its airy vaulted living space that opens onto a south-facing terrace with mountain views. It offers four bedrooms with king-size beds, three shower rooms and ample seating indoors and outdoors. The spacious kitchen and dining area, along with large sofas around a wood stove and TV.

The Granary - Sleeps 5

The Granary combines character and comfort with its restored oak features, including the original wonky ogee doorway, mullioned windows and weathered shutters. Modern amenities like underfloor heating, a large radiator and a wood stove ensure a cosy atmosphere year-round. Two ground floor bedrooms, one family room and one king-size double open onto gardens, a south-facing terrace and a vineyard, providing a serene retreat.

Goose Cotts - Sleeps 2

Goose Cotts is a charming romantic retreat. A luxurious canopied king-size bed sits on a mezzanine with an oak balcony overlooking the well-appointed lounge. It serves as an ideal hub for exploring the area, with a fantastic kitchen and a spacious wood stove for cozy evenings. Alternatively, it offers a secluded haven to unwind and escape. The attractive glazed frontage features an east-facing breakfast patio, overlooking a nearby spring surrounded by herbs and alpine strawberries. Adjacent to this is a sheltered terrace bordered by charming box hedging, bathed in the midday sun and adorned with ox-eye daisies and Welsh poppies.

The Farm

Dukes Farm offers ample parking with a 22kW charge point, along with blissfully serene surroundings under spectacular starlit skies, just a stone's throw from the Brecon Beacons Dark Sky Reserve. Far from ordinary, it features a games room, a sizable sunken trampoline, beautiful gardens, and direct access to scenic walks. Situated within walking distance of mountain ridges, Offa's Dyke, and local pubs, Dukes Farm is designed to be a vibrant canvas for holidays of every kind. We warmly welcome families, pets and guests alike with open arms.

All cottages can be hired together to accommodate 15 guests.

Visiting Craswall & Exploring Herefordshire

Visit Dukes Farm and explore the stunning Black Mountains, east of the Brecon Beacons, stretching into Herefordshire along the Welsh border. Known as the Marches and overlooked by Offa’s Dyke, this area boasts steep valleys rich in history: from medieval landmarks like Longtown Castle and Llanthony Abbey to serene spots such as Dore Abbey and Craswall’s Priory ruins. The River Wye, renowned for canoeing, and the River Monnow offer excellent fishing opportunities, with some spots free to access. Enjoy local pubs serving a range of beers and ciders from the vibrant brewing scene. Explore unspoiled villages and well-maintained footpaths perfect for walking adventures.
