Seascape Cottage offers charming self catering accommodation in Tweedmouth. Our delightful old town house in Northumberland is the perfect base for exploring Berwick-upon-Tweed and is linked to town by a wonderful old stone bridge, originally constructed in 1603.

Seascape is believed to have been originally made for a retired mariner to help him observe the seagoing vessels visiting the town. The lovely town house now offers excellent accommodation and is ideal for a romantic getaway. The property is beautifully furnished and comes with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing holiday.

On the ground floor there is a well-equipped kitchen with a range of facilities to suit all your needs including a washing machine, tumble drier, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric induction hob, oven, dining area and TV. At the opposite end is a dining area and a double futon for an extra 2 people is in the bay window.

The cosy sitting room is on the first floor and comes with Freesat TV, a music centre and a Blu Ray player. This is the perfect space to unwind whilst savouring stunning views over the estuary and sea.

The bedroom comes with a comfy double bed and is the perfect place to rest your head at night after a day sightseeing. The room comes with a TV and DVD player and enjoys glorious sea views. A bathroom with a shower over the bath is also on the upper floor.

We are in a fantastic location and only a 5-minute walk to the restaurants in town, including an Indian, fish and chip shop, Chinese, pizzeria and various takeaways. There is also a small grocery store/off licence. Berwick-upon-Tweed has lots to see, including castles, beaches and scenic boast trips. Attractions worth visiting include:

Paxton House.
Berwick Town Walls.
Berwick Museum and Art Gallery.
Royal Border Bridge.
