Helme Pasture Lodges & Cottages offer comfortable and cosy self-catering accommodation set in picturesque surroundings in Summerbridge, Harrogate. There are superb views over the surrounding dales and the freedom to explore our own 29-acre woodland as well as the many moorland and woodland tracks in this tranquil area of North Yorkshire. All are open all year and are available for short lets or longer during the quieter months.

These are two genuine Scandinavian designed and built lodges, located within on the edge of our woodland. Fully equipped and ideal for couples or larger groups who are looking for the peace and tranquillity of the woodland surroundings together with every modern comfort. The lodges are distinctive in design and size with spacious, open plan living rooms with Wi-Fi and SMART TV with fully equipped modern kitchens, bathrooms as well as showers.

Built as two completely individual and complete lodges, they can also be opened up into one large lodge via internal doors, with up to 10 berths available for bigger families and groups.

Each lodge has its own car parking at the rear and are on one level permitting easier access for those with walking difficulties.

The resident family's converted farmhouse and cottages nestle at the side of a steep hill on an unclassified country road in the beautiful Nidderdale countryside, on the edge of the spectacular Yorkshire Dales. All have South facing windows with tree and valley views.

The two cottages sleep 2 people, but can, at a push accommodate 1 more person utilising additional temporary beds. They are well equipped and surrounded by mature woodland and within a few minutes’ drive of many attractions such as Fountains Abbey, Ripley Castle, Brimham Rocks along with the nearby towns of Harrogate, Knaresborough and Pateley Bridge as well as the city of Ripon. Both cottages have SMART TV and free Wi-Fi.

The Byre: Our best value cottage, all on the ground floor of our converted farmhouse. There is an open plan sitting area with an integral kitchen/dining area. The double bedroom has an on-suite WC and shower.

The Old Barn: With the best views and most character, this is situated above the Byre with a large open plan living/dining/kitchen with wood burning stove and 2 large windows letting sunlight floods through into the room. A staircase leads up to the beamed double bedroom and bathroom overlooking woodland at the back.

Helme Pasture is in the Nidderdale ‘Natural Landscapes’ area (formally known as Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) next to the Yorkshire Dales National Park. There is fascinating scenery and countryside activities for all types of holidays, relax or be energetic- walk, cycle – visit local villages, markets, towns and attractions, there is sure to be something here for everyone.
