Redmire Barn offers wonderful self catering accommodation near Skipton. Our Dales barn conversion dates from 1711 and is perfect for exploring the Yorkshire Dales National Park and Grassington. Further afield you can visit lots of attractions in North Yorkshire.

Accommodation

Our barn has been tastefully renovated whilst still maintaining original features. The barn is perfect for couples, families and friends.

The property comes with thick stone walls and solid oak beams. Downstairs there is an open plan living/dining area with comfy seating, a log burner and a smart TV. The rustic dining table is next to the French doors. We have an antique billiards table to enjoy. The well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances, including a De Longhi coffee machine.

Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms. Each bedroom has a large double with a zip-link king-size bed that can be made as 2 singles. The bedrooms both come with an en suite shower.

Outside we have a private terrace, BBQ and garden furniture. You can also relax in the south-facing river-bank garden or light the fire pit whilst gazing at the starry night sky.

Visting Skipton & Exploring North Yorkshire

Whilst staying with us you can explore the local area. Visit the dale’s highest peak of Pen-y-Ghent or see White Scar caves. Lots of walking and cycling paths are in the area, including cycle routes which were in the Tour de France and Tour de Yorkshire. Attractions to visit include:

Aysgarth Falls.
Skipton Castle.
Craven Museum & Gallery.
Skipton Castle Woods.
Bolton Priory.

Rates: From £1185 to £1325 per week depending on season.
3 nights minimum. There may be specific seasonal times whereby this is 5 nights minimum.
(Refer to our link to Independent Cottages website below for up to date tariff of prices. Depending on Low/ Mid/ High season, prices range from £165- £195 p/n. Look out for last minute deals too!)
