High Cloud Farm offers self catering holiday accommodation that is just a short drive from the centre of the beautiful Welsh village of Llangovan near Monmouth. The holiday cottage is surrounded by breath taking panoramic views of countryside and the mountains in the distance. This holiday home has 10 bedrooms and is perfect for a group of family & friends who are looking to get together.

Our Welsh holiday home is in a quiet and rural location that is free of noise & traffic and is a haven for spotting wildlife. The farm itself has enchanting walks with a picturesque grotto in its own woodlands and the stream walk which has many little waterfalls and wild flowers. There is a well tended grassy jogging or walking track around the fields.

Our farm is set at the end of a long private lane in over 30 acres of grounds. There is a heated pool, hot tub, running track and a huge games room that you are welcome to use and enjoy during your stay.

All of the bedrooms are comfortable and spacious so you can be sure to have a good night’s rest after a busy day exploring. Both the Farmhouse and The Barn have big cosy sitting rooms & modern kitchens. The Barn is big enough for everyone to sit together and eat together, while the Farmhouse offers the opportunity for a little privacy too with its own lounge and kitchen/diner – perfect for multi generational groups or just for those who like time to themselves as well as time together.

The self catering accommodation is both spacious and comfortable, fully equipped and recently furnished to a high standard. There are sun terraces, a verandah, croquet lawn and grassy area for ball games.

From the farm it is only a 10 minute drive into the centre of Llangovan where there is a village shop and a pub to stop at for a bite to eat. Alternatively, the nearby town of Monmouth has many restaurants and independent shops to explore.

We are on the border between England and Wales and this area has many ruined castles and churches, the closest being Raglan Castle and Tintern Abbey.

The area offers boat cruises, walks and adventure activities in Wye Valley Gorge or walks on Offa’s Dyke, Sugarloaf and other mountains. For towns, we’re within an hour of Bristol, Cardiff, Chepstow, Cheltenham and Hereford.
