Mill Stream Barn

Our barn stands in the grounds of the old mill house and has been thoughtfully renovated to offer high-quality accommodation. This property sleeps up to 4 people and is next to the pretty chalk stream.

The double-height sitting room comes with comfy sofas and a flat screen TV/DVD player. A well-equipped kitchen/dining table comes with a range of appliances to suit all your needs. The twin bedroom is in the old granary and is accessed from the sitting room by an oak staircase and galleried landing. The double bedroom is on the ground floor and comes with an en suite bathroom. A bathroom is also available on the ground floor. Both bedrooms come with Hypnos mattresses and 100% cotton bed linen.

The Milking Parlour

This spacious barn enjoys lovely views over the mill pond and is set in its own grounds. Our barn has been sympathetically renovated to offer excellent accommodation for 2 people, ideal for a romantic break.

Inside there is an open plan kitchen/sitting room. The kitchen comes with a variety of appliances to suit all your needs. A relaxing sitting room has comfy seating and a flat screen TV/DVD player. Both the kitchen and the sitting room enjoy views of the River Bain and land beyond. The property boasts limestone flooring and underfloor heating. A comfortable doulbe bedroom has use of an adjacent bathroom. The Milking Parlour comes with the same luxurious bed linen as Mill Stream Barn.

Guests are welcome to stroll around the half mile or so of our privately owned river frontage which forms part of the Mill’s estate.

Visiting Donington on Bain & Exploring Lincolnshire

We are in a great for cycling and walking, with lots of quiet country lanes to enjoy, including Lindsey Trail runs past the door. Louth is a quaint market town which has lots of independent shops to see. All the local towns and villages have a variety of wonderful restaurants and pubs. Cadwell Park, the famous racing circuit, is also nearby. Lots of attractions are in the local area:
