Brambles Farm Bungalow offers quality self catering accommodation in the village of Freshwater on the Isle of Wight. We are in a stunning coastal position and have fantastic sea views. Our bungalow is great for families or couples, walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers looking for somewhere special to stay.
Our bungalow is only a few metres from the award-winning sandy beach at Colwell, making us an ideal destination for beach lovers. We truly are the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life.
Inside the property, there is a well-equipped kitchen with a range of appliances for home-cooking: microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, cooker with gas hob, electric oven, toaster, dishwasher and washing machine. From the kitchen (and bedroom) you enjoy glorious views of the horses grazing on the farm and to the Tennyson Monument across the valley. Unwind in the cosy living area which has comfy seating, a TV with Freeview, DVD player, book, games, DVDs and iPod dock.
Two attractive double bedrooms and one twin are available. All rooms share a bathroom with a shower over the bath.
Outside there is a patio with a table and benches, great for al fresco dining whilst admiring the sea views. You can also relax on the sun loungers after a day of sightseeing, watching the legendary sunsets. There are also communal gardens with a bench.
We are situated in West Wight, a glorious area of the island, home to scenic coastline, beautiful walks and cycle routes. Tennyson Down, Headon Warren and The Needles all offer spectacular views, whilst Yarmouth Harbour and Castle, Alum Bay, The Needles Pleasure Park, National Trust Lighthouse and Fort Victoria Country Park are accessible by car. Freshwater Bay is home to an 18-hole golf course and Colwell Bay offers a safe beach for families to enjoy. Further attractions to visit include:
