Kathleen & Mabel Cottages are two self catering cottages available on the Lochbuie Estate on the Isle of Mull. The village of Lochbuie is situated at the head of Loch Buie on the south coast of the Isle of Mull some 14 miles from the ferry terminal at Craignure. The area is renowned for its scenic landscape, shimmering beaches and abundant wildlife.

Kathleen is a comfortable traditional stone-built cottage, with a kitchen including an electric cooker, a fridge, freezer and microwave, there is also a washing machine and tumble dryer. The cottage is heated throughout and there is a multi-fuel stove in the dining room which will heat the water but there is a back up of an immersion heater as well. The cottage is on mains electricity but has a private water supply. 1 Double Bedroom, 1 Twin Bedroom, 1 Single Bedroom. Dining Room, Bathroom, Living Room, Kitchen. A starter pack for the fires is provided. Electricity and linen are included in the rent. Sheets, pillowcases and towels are provided. A cot and high chair can be provided. There is car parking space and pets are welcome.

Mabel is a comfortable traditional stone-built cottage, with a kitchen including an electric cooker, a fridge, freezer, microwave and washer/dryer combined. The cottage is heated throughout and there is a multi-fuel stove in the sitting room but there is a back up of an immersion heater as well. The cottage is on mains electricity but has a private water supply. 1 Bedroom with twin beds, Living Room, Kitchen, Bathroom with WC. All on the ground floor. A starter pack for the fires is provided. Electricity and linen are included in the rent. Sheets, pillowcases quilt cover and towels are provided. There is car parking space.

Lochbuie is a walkers paradise and there are many walks around the village, to the Standing Stones, Moy Castle, St. Kilda's Church, Laggan Sands, Iron Age Fort and the Mausoleum. For the more adventurous there is a beautiful shore walk to Carsaig. Lochbuie is a tranquil haven just awaiting your discovery.
